Dear Readers,
As many of you know, I’ve loved writing contemporary romances featuring thirty-something characters—full of fire, discovery, and the push-pull of figuring out life and love at the same time. Those stories will always hold a special place in my heart. But lately, I’ve felt the pull toward something deeper. I’m leaning into seasoned romance—love stories about characters in their 40s, 50s, and beyond who bring a little more history to the table, and a whole lot more perspective. These characters have lived. They’ve loved, lost, raised kids, changed careers, grieved, healed, and grown. And now, they're still open to love—not as a rescue or a fix, but as something they choose, intentionally and unapologetically.
Seasoned romance isn’t just about age—it’s about experience. It’s about people who’ve earned their edges and still believe they have something beautiful left to discover. I’m drawn to stories where characters know themselves better, set boundaries faster, and love more bravely because they’ve seen how precious time really is. The passion is still there—believe me, the heat doesn’t cool with age—but it’s layered with wisdom, humor, and a different kind of vulnerability. There’s something magnetic about characters who aren’t starting from scratch, but instead are finding the courage to start again.
If you’ve loved my stubborn heroes and smart heroines in their thirties, I hope you’ll love them even more with a few more miles under their boots and heels. These stories still have the same emotional depth, banter, and hard-won happily-ever-afters—just with a little more seasoning. Whether it’s a second chance, later-in-life love, or finally figuring out what real connection looks like, these characters aren’t chasing fairy tales. They’re building love that lasts.
Thanks for trusting me with your hearts. I can’t wait to bring you along on this next chapter.
With love and heat,
